It is with great sadness that we announce the permanent closure of Camp Ballibay.

As you know, the pandemic hit us hard. Despite two strong years of recovery, the past three summers have brought continued challenges with enrollment, and we have made the difficult decision that we will not be able to operate camp in 2026.

We have partnered with the wonderful Camp Med-o-lark to make sure that Ballibay campers have the option of a new summer home. Med-o-lark is an arts camp aligned with Ballibay’s mission and values, and we have great confidence that your children will love Med-o-lark as they have loved Ballibay.

Alongside Ballibay campers and staff, we have grown immeasurably at Ballibay; first as campers, then as counselors, and ultimately as camp directors. Experiencing and serving within this community has been the privilege of a lifetime, and while we are saddened to end this adventure after so many joyful and creative summers, life is change, and there is a season for all things.
